You own what you write and upload. We need a licence to host it and run the features you use, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Privacy Policy

We collect what we need to run BlackSlate: your account details, the work you put in it, and basic technical data. We do not sell personal data or use advertising trackers.

Cookie Policy

The website sets no analytics or advertising cookies. It remembers your cookie choice in your own browser.

Acceptable Use Policy

Use BlackSlate for your own development work, and upload only what you have the right to.

Data Processing Addendum

When your company puts personal data into BlackSlate, such as scripts, writer details or submissions, you are the controller and we process it for you.

These are the companies that process personal data on our behalf to run BlackSlate.

We show covers, artwork and titles to identify the works our data describes. If you own the rights and want something removed, tell us.
